Troy Keys, 19, got out of his car at the intersection of Mulberry and Wood Street and began shooting gunshot rounds at a group of people around 5:40 p.m. on Sept. 20 of last year, the Bristol Borough Police Department said.

Within that group was an 18-year-old target whom Keys was intending to shoot, but missed. The rounds also bypassed a 7 and 9-year-old in the group, police said.

He also struck a nearby home and the second-floor window of the Bristol Fire Company on Wood St., police said.

Keys has been charged with criminal attempt to commit murder and 14 other counts for the Bristol Borough shooting, police said.

According to police, Keys has also been charged with two separate shooting incidents, one in Middletown Township and one in Bristol Township.

He is currently in Bucks County Prison on unrelated charges, police said.

The investigation was done in conjunction with Bristol Township police, Middletown Township police, and the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
